Professor Mark Post  is the creator of world's first synthetic (in vitro) beef burger and the recipient of World Technology Award for Environment, 2013. With global meat demand estimated to increase 73% by 2050, cultured beef represents a first step in finding a sustainable alternative for meat production. Professor Post will speak about his groundbreaking research and its impact on traditional meat production, followed by an interactive Q&A session.
